Bill travels to South Dakota to work on "Blood Memory"
Bill is currently scoring the documentary "Blood Memory", and traveled to South Dakota to work with director Drew Nicholas and his filmmaking team to record sounds to use as instrumentation in the original film score.
"Blood Memory" explores how battles over blood quantum and “best interests” resurface the untold history of America’s Indian Adoption Era, and the ways in which a survivor of this stolen generation returns to heal her Sicangu Lakota community. Bill is using his "Earthtones" process to create music for the film, utilizing natural sound and sonic landscapes from the Badlands, Black Hills, Rosebud Reservation and surrounding areas to create the musical tapestry for the film's original score.
Bill collaborates with composer Jongnic Bontemps on original Lifetime movie "Faith Under Fire: The Antoinette Tuff Story"
Bill continued his ongoing collaboration with composer Jongnic Bontemps by contributing sound design, custom instrumentation and additional music to the upcoming Lifetime movie "Faith Under Fire", starring Toni Braxton. Bontemps created an original score for the film, which premieres on January 27th at 8pm.
The film is based on the book Prepared for a Purpose: An Inspiring True Story of Faith, Courage and Compassion in Crisis by Antoinette Tuff and Alex Tresniowski.
Bill creates "Earthtones" music score for Deborah Lindquist's show at MODA 360 in Los Angeles
Bill's "Earthtones" music was featured in Deborah Lindquist's fashion show at MODA 360, benefiting the LA Zoo. His original score for the event was a custom soundtrack using only the sounds of wildlife and nature in the spirit of Lindquist's earth inspired, eco-couture designs.
